About
Prachi Bagave is a PhD researcher at Delft University of Technology and a member of the Cyber-Physical Intelligence Laboratory. Her research focuses on developing accountable and trustworthy Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, particularly for healthcare applications involving Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
Her work investigates how AI-enabled healthcare systems can support reliable and accountable decision-making. By combining technical and socio-technical perspectives, she explores the challenges of establishing accountability in environments where AI systems, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders participate in critical decisions.
A central aspect of her research involves Explainable AI (XAI) and machine learning techniques to improve the transparency, interpretability, and accountability of AI-driven systems. Her work also addresses the analysis of data from smart embedded systems and the evaluation of machine learning algorithms in real-world applications.
She has contributed to research on accountable AI for healthcare IoT systems, explainable machine learning for medical applications, and trustworthy AI architectures, including work associated with the European H2020 SPATIAL project.
