Venue

The workshop will be organized at METSÄTALO (Sali 4), Unioninkatu 40, a building which is part of the central campus of University of Helsinki. The building is located by the northern part of Kettu block between Unioninkatu and Fabianinkatu in Helsinki. Here you can find the building location from Google Maps. The city of Helsinki also offers a free web-based Map Service.

Transportation

Using public transportation in Helsinki and capital area is fairly easy. To find a route to your destination, use Journey Planner. Tickets can also be bought using smartphone app conveniently.

If you need accommodation, city centre has many options to choose from. Many are within walking distance from the venue or at least within a short tram or bus ride.

Located on the edge of Kumpula gardens, inexpensive AVA is a good choice if you don't mind a bit longer travel time to the venue.

Located right next to Finnish National Opera and Töölönlahti (Töölö Bay), this nordic chain-hotel offers everything you'd expect from a bigger hotel for a moderate price. The venue can be reached easily with a tram and short walk.
